Hand-made Chinese Silk Frog Button Closure w/ Wire

Chinese traditional knot button, a.k.a. frog button, is used on all Chinese traditional garments. It's very decorative, especially for Asian style dresses. One set of button has two pieces: one with a knot ball at the end, and one with a lasso at the end. Put the ball into the lasso, and you have a nice-looking closure.

This particular button is hand-made with artificial silk fabric. Made in China. Unlike most frog buttons sold online, this button is completely hand-made by wrapping and sewing silk fabric into a string, and rolled/tied into a knot. Metallic wire was wrapped in the fabric to give excellent shape retention. It also allows you to change its shape to your preference.
