Chinese Silk Brocade Fabric

Chinese Silk Brocade fabric, a.k.a. brocade satin, or jacquard fabric. It's interwoven with mixed silk and artificial material to form exquisite patterns on the textile. The pretty color was dyed into the material. Because it's not pure silk, brocade fabric has much better shape retention. Thus, this beautiful piece of fabric is perfect for Do-It-Yourself lovers!

This particular fabric is artificial silk interwoven with rayon/polyester. It was also embroidered with silver thread to form the shiny patterns. Made in China. Because its surface was covered with silver threads and becomes quite rough, it's not suitable for making garments. You can use it as a decoration material.
